Nice video! I like your hive collections 🙂 I hope to bring my empty log hive from Sweden next week so its ready for testing next year. It will be used as a Feral Cavity and will be used for making treatment free swarms
I’m definitely not mainstream! I’ve started work on a third log hive because they are the most natural of bee hives. This one will be a little bigger and will proudly display the faces of my three grandchildren. 🙂
Will you be introducing a swarm into your log hive, or try to entice a swarm to choose it without intervening? When it’s done, I’m going to stand mine up, hang a few old natural combs inside, and hope for the best!
I will do either or. Whichever comes first 🙂
I remember learning in a class that bees do a dance.
Great music and those bees are right with the beat! 🙂
Who’d a thunk bees could get along without human intervention? Glad to see all is well in your little kingdom, but this excellently-crafted video has almost discouraged me from putting up my very humble video in my next post….
One of my favourite tunes as well.
Great video and wonderful music. A great way to start my weekend – Thanks!
