Did you get my message?
Uh, where did you send it?
I tried multiple times to send you a message and when I click on submit nothing happens… Basically, I am asking you if it would be OK to nominate your AWESOME blog for the Shine On Award… I contact my nominees before I nominate them to make sure they will participate and pass the award on to other great bloggers. Email me at belmontrooster@centurylink.net.
See if this works…12-12-13
Pat
Can you email a photo of your “female” beehive to use in your yearbook ad.
Larry
Bee-atrice is on her way…
Hello does your contact details ‘submit’ albeit there is no response. Here is the same message below;
Hello
I hope you will allow me to use one of your photos within a PowerPoint Presentation.
I have made an astounding discovery, if you would like to know more please contact me direct and I will send you my next book by email free of charge.
A little about myself, I am 65 years of age only finding the joy of beekeeping when I was 30, 2 beehives grew to 300 and my quest to finding an answer to the honeybee demise and CCD (ccd is only in America). This I have achieved.
Honeybees will make their nest in anything as long as it is in the right place using the Electromagnetic Field. I have done exhaustive tests over many, many years to come to this conclusion, you must remember ‘honeybees do not lie’.
Many organisations state the log hive is the oldest so must be the best however they are using the logs horizontally rather than in their original state of vertical and then these beekeepers wonder why their bees swarm or die out.
There is a lot to say, at the moment in the UK it is very cold and wet but I have a gentleman flying over from Switzerland to find out more of my worldwide discovery Tuesday 13th 2015.
For now, time for a cup of tea.
Kind regards
John Harding
Pat hello it is me again but now about the mail you had from John Harding. I have been looking for informaton about bees swarming and gathering on cross points in magnetic fields. I would very much like to make contact with him about this. Can you be a go between for me please?
The Contact Page actually worked this time…amazing. I will email you his address so you can go direct. Actually, I’d like to know about the magnetic lines too. Maybe you’ll write about it?
Pat
John Harding! I am looking for any information I can get to build a bee log that our native honey bees will love! Can I contact you?! Thank you!
Hi Kari, I just found your question hung up in my “waiting for approval” section. Sorry about that. I will email John Harding’s address when I find it. Hopefully, soon.
Hi Kari, here is John Harding’s email address… harding@clavies.freeserve.co.uk
Hi,
I LOVE your site. I live on the Oregon Coast, too, and have just gotten into beekeeping. I’m also really into plants and have been diving into research on pollinator forage. I love what you’ve done to plantings that support your bees!
I’m not sure just where you are on the coast, but wanted to let you know that we’re starting up a new bee club in Newport. The Central Coast Beekeepers Association had it’s first official meeting on Wednesday evening and I was surprised at the turn out. We’ll meet on the third Wednesday of each month at the Newport Library, 6:30 pm. We’ve got people coming from Lincoln City to Florence to Alsea. I’m also a member of the Tillamook Beekeepers Feel free to email me for more information, or just to say ‘hi’!
Anne
Thanks for the invitation. I’m south of you by about 100 miles…a bit too far to attend a bee meeting. I sometimes attend a meeting in Gold Beach or the local one in Myrtle Point, but I’m more of a natural beekeeper. I don’t like to intervene too much, which sometimes goes against the practices of traditional beekeepers. I don’t treat for mites at all and I let the bees build their own comb without using foundation. I just recently learned of a beekeeper who grows spearmint around his hives. He says it keeps the varroa away. Have you ever heard of that?
Do you sell hives? The carved log hives are beautiful works of art, LOVE them!
The carved log hives are a labor of love. 😀 I’d never make any money on them because they take so long to build but knowing that bees can survive in them, naturally, without my intervention, is incentive for making the effort. Plus I get unlimited photo opportunities. 😀
