The bee seems to hammer for ages on the door of the flower before going in but when it’s found the pollen, it buries itself for ages in the bloom as if it never wants to leave. One happy bee?
That particular blossom might not have been prime for pollen gathering, but the bee was putting in the effort to get what she could.
My tree has flowered too. I will probably put it in a post when I get round to it. They are very special flowers. Amelia
I’m anxious to see if your Tulip tree blossoms have the same coloration as mine. I’ve seen some images on the web that have more distinct colors. Those might be from the warmer states.
Awesome post! Loved the excitement of the bee and the delicious feel of the “Havana” music…talk about burying yourself in your work!
I love using music on my videos. Trouble is, I have absolutely NO musical talent. I’ll be learning GarageBand for a while…a looong while. Then we’ll see what damage I can do. 🙂
I’ve never seen honeybees enter tulips before, that’s one determined forager. Hope she gets out ok!
