Another example of a ‘bully bee.’
A disagreement over blossom rights.
Our cat likes to play in this grass. I have no idea why she likes it, but like it she does. When I had the camera out shooting the bees on the pussy willow last week, I caught her in the act.
Having trouble sleeping… Your videos help me relax. Thanks!!
I was going to ask what you’re doing up so late. I think you’re two hours ahead of the West Coast, that makes it about 2 am!
Watch enough of them and they will put you to sleep. 🙂
Have come across two other blogs where cats playing with this particular kind of grass are mentioned!
Glad to have you with us in following a tree. I’ve put you on the list. http://tinyurl.com/bv6pzt5 When you’ve decided on your tree, I’ll add that in.
There will be linky boxes for tree following on 7th of every month – beginning March. So you’ve plenty of time to look around and choose a tree you will enjoy knowing more about. (Each box will stay open a week.)
That bee was certainly a bully! The poor creature wasn’t even looking at the pollen or nectar. It looked like a little lacewing, they are very pretty.
You have got very steady hands, your videos don’t shake.
Thanks for the compliment, but I can’t take credit. The camera helps quite a bit. Video editing also helps…then when I can’t edit it out, I’ll use the wind for an excuse. 🙂
Great moment there. My first thought also was that the unsuspecting insect is a lacewing. A very matter of fact bullying, I’ll say!
hahahah! Love how the bee picked up the insects and drop it. LOL!
Carmen is just so adorable! Great videos and thanks for sharing. 😀
