These bee-loving Vision Violet geraniums will bloom from early spring to late summer.
Thanks to Bob and Carol Fischer for providing the starts for us.

Vision Violets attract bees. They bloom from early spring to late summer…The bees love them and so do I.
Want to see the bees on the flowers?
After several hours of lifting, splitting, carrying, and stacking, we treat ourselves to a walk on the beach. We are greeted by the incoming tide washing in and over the mounds of seaweed.
Enjoyed watching the bees on the blue flowers. 🙂
That is without a doubt the Oregon coast! Love it 🙂
You should be collecting the seaweed and putting it on your garden; a time old tradition in the Channel Islands 🙂 I hadn’t realised that you were so close to the sea; looks spectacular.
Hey Eddy, I’d love to get that seaweed off the beach. Years ago, before all those homes, we would venture on the beach with our old pickup…something we’d do with care, because if you got stuck in the sand, the tide would swallow your vehicle. Now there’s too many people and too many cell phones ready to report vehicles on the beach.
I guess a person could drag it up the hill to the parking lot, but that person would be about 25 years younger than I am. 🙂
